If everyone is pretty then NO ONE IS ! I am Shay and I refuse to follow the orders of a self-seeking,manipulative government who aspire to create a world where nobody is unique.

I live in Uglyville.It's a bummer that I am about to turn 16 since the government where I live forces me to have a pointless surgery that would turn me into a "pretty"(another word to define the people who have nothing but the exact same look,the exact perfect standard body,empty minds and lost identities).Pretty in our world is misconceived by a high amount of the people.Here it is just a misconception of perfection.I strongly believe(just being jumble,I don't believe I KNOW)this system is just designed for the sake of the people in charge of the government.Not for the sake of our people's happiness and comfort which would be the right thing to do.We aren't born flawless.Our flaws and our differences are the things that make us special,one of a kind.I won't allow the government to take it from us.I swear I won't give in.Not without a fight.This whole game is just designed to make us hate ourselves.We don't have to look like everyone else and act like everyone else.We've got a choice we can grow up any way we want.

I won't just stand there and watch the government manipulate the people,turn them into slaves and play with them like puppets by giving them the perfect standards they fooled everyone to believe that it is some sort of superiority.I won't surrender until I get everyone to understand that this whole system must be broken.About the surgery,it is not at all impeccable.It is ironically flawed.Awfully flawed...Not only it damages you physically(I mean come on they suck all the fat off of your body, that definitely does not sound natural or healthy)it also damages your BRAIN!!

I can't and I won't accept any reason why we should get our brain damaged with our own will.Are we that naive or deluded?They make us think that we have to reach this perfect standard look:(highly overrated by the way)where we actually are beautiful just the way we are,as uglies.I couldn't just obey the government and ruin what I had.That is why I ran off to Smoke.I met new people there,my kind of people,people who think like me,people who can see through the glass.Their leader is Dr.Cable.

Now it's us against the world with them so why don't you join us to stand up for everything we have left.We will not blindly follow,we will stand up for our rights TILL THE LAST BREATH,TILL THE LAST DROP OF OUR BLOOD!Because if we turn pretty,then that's it.It's new pretty,middle pretty,late pretty... then dead pretty.
